Spider Web Craft Made From A Paper Plate

Sometimes all you need is the simplest craft materials to make the BEST crafts happen in your home.

Take for example today’s spider web craft idea made from a paper plate and craft yarn. We are going to encourage YOU and your child to weave a web of craftiness into your home, this Halloween season, with our LATEST simple kid craft idea from Glued To My Crafts!

With just basic materials such as white yarn, tissue paper and a paper plate – you too can pull this “spider-tastic” activity together for your child in no time. Best part? It’s really inexpensive and the little ones can get involved too! I’m going to show you just how EASY it is!

PAIR YOUR SPIDER WEB PAPER PLATE CRAFT WITH —> Cupcake Liner Spider

Paper Plate Spider Web - Kid Craft Idea For Halloween Paper Plate Spider Web - Kid Craft Idea For Halloween

Craft Supplies:

  • Large Paper Plate – one per spider web craft
  • Green or Purple Tissue Paper
  • White Craft Yarn
  • School Glue
  • Kid Friendly Scissors
  • Plastic Spider or Spider Stickers

Directions:

  • First have your child cut their tissue paper into small squares {perfect for practicing those cutting skills!}
  • Now put a good layer of glue ALL over the paper plate.
  • Have children place the tissue paper on top of the glue, until the paper plate is completely covered.
  • While they are working on that, cut some LONG strips of white yarn for the web {doesn’t matter how much or little but remember – the more the better!}
  • Now put another layer of glue on top of the paper plate and have your child place the yarn on top.
  • To finish off the Paper Plate Spider Web craft, glue/place a spider in the center of the plate.
  • Then let it all dry completely before displaying proudly!

Halloween is the perfect time to get crafty with your kids! This spooky spider web paper plate craft is easy and fun for all ages.
