Super EASY Apple Print Gift Wrap – Simple Kid Craft Idea For Fall
An apple a day, keeps the doc away! And with fall and there are plenty of apples around. Instead of just eating them, why not craft with them? Yup – you read that right – you can craft with apples.
Apples are not only tasty in the kitchen, but they can be a great stamping tool in the craft world too!
Today I present to you our apple print gift wrap kid craft tutorial. It’s an affordable but crafty way to dress up gifts. Your children can get involved in the making and you can make completely customizable wrapping wrap.
Lil Man and I had a blast recently made ours & now I have some great gift wrap to use throughout the year! PLUS you can recycle/dressup tissue paper or plain wrapping paper you may have laying around.
Here is how you can make your own apple print gift wrap:

Apple Print Craft Supplies:
* Firm, Fresh Apples
* Sharp Knife {adult supervision!!!!}
* Various Craft Paints
* Large Paper Plate
* Foam Paint Brush
* Kraft Gift Wrap Paper or Construction Paper
* Twine To Wrap Your Gifts
* Basic Craft Scissors

Directions:
* First cut your apples in half. You can cut a design into the halves if you like – but we decided to keep it simple.
* Squirt some paint on paper plates and rub your apple in the paint.
* Then lay out several layers of tissue paper {because it’s thin} or construction paper and have your child press the apple onto the paper.
* Repeat to get the design you want.
* Let dry completely before using as gift wrap or other projects.
Other Apple Stamped Craft Ideas:
* Instead of gift wrap – turn this into a regular craft where a child makes a masterpiece. Take their works of art and turn them into thank you cards. They can add clever sayings like “love you to the core” or “you are apple-tastic!”
* Instead of using gift wrap, use tissue paper instead and use it to stuff/wrap presents for in a gift bag.
* Dress up plain rolls of regular wrapping paper or gift boxes with this technique.
* Instead of apples – use potatoes or oranges as stamps. Also add some handprints for a fun look.
* Change out the regular paint for fabric paint and use this technique to make designs on fabric or tshirts.
Don’t forget to have a few apples on hand to snack on while you craft! #gluedtomycrafts
