Craft Supplies:

  • FREE PRINTABLE ON OUR LANDING PAGE
  • Yellow Cardstock Paper
  • Brown Cardstock Paper
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive
  • Black Marker
  • Bee Stickers

Instructions:

  • First things first, grab the free “beehive” file {listed above in the supply list} and print it out on yellow cardstock paper.
  • Now trim out the hat piece from the printable and discard the excess paper.
  • Next up – grab your white cardstock paper and pencil.
  • Trace both of your child’s hands {one at a time, in separate locations} on the paper.
  • When done tracing, trim them both out. This will be the beard for your honeybee gnome.
  • Finally – cut out a small oval nose shape from the brown cardstock paper.
  • You now have all your pieces, it’s time to start assembling! Grab your choice of adhesive and all your paper cutouts.
  • Start off by gluing the two handprint cutouts {his beard} under the yellow beehive paper piece.
  • Follow that up gluing on his nose to the center, to tie it all together.
  • To finish off your Paper Beehive Gnome Keepsake, add some bee stickers all over the hat piece.
  • Now you can stop here or add any other embellishments you see fit, to give it your own personal spin!
  • Then display your handprint bumblebee hive piece proudly for ALL to see!!
