Paper Gnome Beehive Keepsake

PAIR YOUR BEE CRAFT WITH —> Handprint Sunflower Keepsake
Craft Supplies:
- FREE BEEHIVE HAT PRINTABLE ON BOX.COM
- Color Printer
- Yellow Cardstock Paper
- Brown Cardstock Paper
- White Cardstock Paper
- Pencil
- Craft Scissors
- Glue Stick, Tape Runner or Handheld Stapler
- Black Sharpie Marker
- Bee Stickers
Instructions:
- First things first, grab the free “beehive” file {listed above in the supply list} and print it out on yellow cardstock paper.
- Now trim out the hat piece from the printable and discard the excess paper.
- Next up – grab your white cardstock paper and pencil.
- Trace both of your child’s hands {one at a time, in separate locations} on the paper.
- When done tracing, trim them both out. This will be the beard for your honeybee gnome.
- Finally – cut out a small oval nose shape from the brown cardstock paper.
- You now have all your pieces, it’s time to start assembling! Grab your choice of adhesive and all your paper cutouts.
- Start off by gluing the two handprint cutouts {his beard} under the yellow beehive paper piece.
- Follow that up gluing on his nose to the center, to tie it all together.
- To finish off your Paper Beehive Gnome Keepsake, add some bee stickers all over the hat piece.
- Now you can stop here or add any other embellishments you see fit, to give it your own personal spin!
- Then display your handprint bumblebee hive piece proudly for ALL to see!!
