Don't Worry BEE Happy Keepsake - Kid Craft Idea

Craft Supplies:

Before you begin, gather all the materials to ensure a smooth and stress-free crafting session. You might already have most of these items at home:

  • BEE HAPPY FILE – ON OUR LANDING PAGE
  • White Cardstock Paper {two pieces}
  • Yellow Cardstock Paper
  • Black Cardstock Paper
  • Yellow Crayon or Marker
  • Black Marker
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive
  • Medium Sized Wiggle Eyes
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First things first, if you haven’t already, print out our “bee happy” file {listed above in the supply list} on a single sheet of white cardstock paper.
  • Use a yellow crayon or marker to color in the beehive in the printable. Set aside.
  • Next up – trace your child’s hand on the yellow cardstock paper.
  • When done tracing, trim it out with your paper scissors.
  • Use the black marker to draw on stripes for the bee.
  • Out of the remaining black and white cardstock, cut out a head and wing shape for the bee.
  • Set those aside.
  • Now you are ready to assemble it all together.
  • Start off by stapling or gluing the head shape to the handprint cutout with the black stripes.
  • Follow that by adding on the wings.
  • To finish off your Paper Bee Keepsake, adhere the handprint bee shape to the center of the colored in beehive.
