Handprint “Just Spreading Some Holiday Cheer” Keepsake

You and your child are going to spread so much HOLIDAY CHEER with our latest handprint Christmas keepsake craft idea for kids!

All you need to do is grab our free provided “spreading Christmas cheer” file, print it out and add a painted handprint to the center of the paper, to bring it to life within minutes this season! Not to mention because it’s so easy to recreate in your home, you can make several at a time and gift them away as well! Hello easy kid-made presents under the tree for family and friends!

Holiday Cheer Keepsake

Simply grab our free provided “spreading cheer” file and print it out so the instructions are right in front on them when they’re ready!

You’ll only need painted hands for this project – no messy glue or expensive supplies needed because everything is included below!

Craft Supplies:

  • HOLIDAY Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Craft Paint
  • Foam Paint Brush
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Baby Wipes
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First grab the HOLIDAY keepsake printable listed above in the supply list.
  • Now print out the provided spreading cheer file on the white cardstock paper.
  • Next grab your craft paint, as well as your foam paint brush and paper plate.
  • Squirt the craft paint on the paper plate.
  • Pick one of your child’s hands {left or right – doesn’t matter!}
  • Paint the palm of your child’s hand completely and press it down in the center of the printable, between the “H” and “LIDAY” letters. The handprint is going to be the “O” in the holiday phrase.
  • Now carefully lift up your child’s hand from the printable and clean off the excess paint with a baby wipe & a quick trip to the sink.
  • When the handprint you just made on the paper is dry enough, start embellishing it your holiday stickers.
  • Add other embellishments to give their holiday cheer Christmas keepsake piece a personalized look.
  • Don’t forget to write your child’s name, age and date on the back!
  • Then display/gift away proudly your child’s beautiful handprint cheer keepsake piece!
