Popsicle Stick Holiday Present Craft Idea For Kids To Make This Christmas Season!

Wrapping gifts during the month of December is part of the fun of the holidays – am I right?

So why not change things UP a bit this season and craft up some Craft Stick Christmas Presents with your child instead?!

This latest craft stick tutorial from Glued To My Crafts is in honor of the fun tradition, where you will create some one-of-a-kind pieces that you can decorate the house with and/or use as gift tags for the real presents under the tree!

With that being said, there are ONLY five simple and inexpensive supplies you will need to have on hand to complete the craft. Overall, it only takes about 10 minutes to complete – from start to finish.

On last note and my last push to inspire you right now, this craft stick present tutorial it’s a great holiday craft idea that won’t break the bank AND kids can customize them however they want {and you can make it beyond the holidays but in honor of a birthday party instead!}

Popsicle Stick Christmas Presents - Kid Craft

Popsicle Stick Christmas Presents

These holiday presents are an easy craft project for kids of all ages! They’re perfect for decorating with paint, glitter, and more.

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
  • Scrapbook Paper
  • Scissors
  • School Glue
  • Craft Paint
  • Foam Paint Brush
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First things first – grab your jumbo popsicle sticks and school glue.
  • Assemble the frame of your popsicle stick present first. This is done by gluing together a simple square first and then gluing the remaining two popsicle sticks like a cross in the center.
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Repeat each present you want to make today.
  • When the shape is dry enough, it’s time for paint! Go ahead and squirt your choice of paint color on the paper plate and grab your paint brush.
  • Paint your newly made popsicle stick shape however you like.
  • Again, let it aside to allow it dry completely.
  • Now you are ready for the inner decorative piece. Grab your scrapbook paper and paper scissors.
  • Cut out a square piece that is a bit smaller than your popsicle stick frame.
  • Go ahead and glue that to the back of your painted popsicle stick shape.
  • To finish off your Popsicle Stick Christmas Presents, decorate the center of your popsicle stick shape with a beautiful gift bow.
  • Add other embellishments you see fit before letting it all dry completely and displaying proudly!
