Holly Jolly Christmas Handprint Keepsake Craft For Kids

It’s going to be a HOLLY JOLLY Christmas with our latest baby handprint keepsake craft idea for kids!

All you need to do is grab our free provided “holly jolly Christmas” file, print it out and add a green baby handprint & some poinsettia stickers to the paper, to bring it to life within minutes this holiday season! Not to mention because it’s so easy to recreate in your home, you can make several at a time and gift them away as well! Hello easy kid-made presents under the tree for family and friends!

Now what you waiting for?! Let’s get to crafting! No need to worry or stress because ALL the crafty steps and free printable can be found below. Handprint Holly Jolly Christmas Keepsake

Craft Supplies:

  • Holly Jolly Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Washable Green Craft Paint
  • Foam Paint Brush
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Baby Wipes
  • Poinsettia and/or Holiday Stickers

Directions:

  • First grab the JOLLY keepsake printable listed above in the supply list.
  • Now print out the provided holly jolly file on the white cardstock paper.
  • Next grab your green paint, as well as your foam paint brush and paper plate.
  • Squirt the craft paint on the paper plate.
  • Pick one of your child’s hands {left or right – doesn’t matter!}
  • Paint the palm of your child’s hand completely green and press it down in the center of the printable, between the “J” and “LLY” letters. The handprint is going to be the “O” in the Jolly phrase.
  • Now carefully lift up your child’s hand from the printable and clean off the excess paint with a baby wipe & a quick trip to the sink.
  • When the handprint you just made on the paper is dry enough, start embellishing it your holiday stickers.
  • Add other embellishments to give their holly jolly themed Christmas piece a personalized look.
  • Don’t forget to write your child’s name, age and date on the back!
  • Then display/gift away proudly your child’s beautiful handprint holly jolly keepsake piece!
