Craft Supplies:

  • Muffin Card Printable
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Paper Trimmer
  • 5×7″ Cardstock Cards
  • Large, Tan Cupcake Liners
  • Glue Stick/Adhesive
  • Black Sharpie Marker
  • Wiggle Eyes

Directions:

  • First things first – print out our FREE “muffin compares to you” card printable that is listed above. One print makes TWO cards at once. Feel free to print as many as you like but the free file is only for PERSONAL USE or in a classroom setting.
  • Once you have the muffin printable printed out, grab your paper trimmer to trim out one of the designs, so it will fit on the front of the cardstock card.
  • Now grab one of your pre-folded cardstock cards & the glue stick.
  • Glue one of the printed cutouts to the front of one of your folded cards.
  • Now grab your tan cupcake liner and flatten it out with your hands.
  • Fold it in half to create the muffin top.
  • Use a glue stick to glue that piece right above the pink cupcake liner design.
  • Now glue on some wiggle eyes so the muffin can see.
  • Finally – grab your black Sharpie marker and draw on a smile & a few simple lines on the pink liner, to give the muffin some dimension.
  • Last step – write a message inside the card and add anything else you see fit!
  • Well done – it looks SWEET! Now give it to the lucky receiver to enjoy!
  • Don’t forget to use the second design in the printable {with the same steps as above} to make another card to drop in the mail today!
