Cupcake Liner Tough Cookie Card Idea For Kids To Make

Spice up kids’ next craft project with this cupcake liner tough cookie card idea! Let their creative side come out and watch these cards take shape.

CRAFT SUPPLIES:

  • Tan Cupcake Liners
  • Cardstock Paper
  • Glue Stick
  • Scissors
  • Band-Aids
  • Googly Eyes
  • Black Marker
  • Embellishments

DIRECTIONS:

  • First make your card and card front. I went with a square card. You just need to make sure your cupcake liner will fit to the front of the card.
  • Now you are ready for the “cookie” part. Grab your brown cupcake liner and flatten it out our fingers.
  • Put glue on the back of the flattened liner and place it in the center of the card. Use your fingers to flatten out the cupcake liner some more and make sure it sticks to the card. Add more glue to the back of areas that aren’t sticking to the card.
  • Next up – the embellishments. Remove the packaging/backing off a Band-Aid and place it in one corner of the cookie.
  • Now grab your wiggle eyes and glue those in place for your cookie to see.
  • Finish off by using the black marker to draw on a simple smile and some random chocolate chips.
  • Then write “You Are One Tough Cookie” on the card {as well as a special message inside} and get ready to gift away!!!
  • And that’s it! I really do hope you inspired to recreate your own today!

Use Age-Appropriate Supplies - Choose craft supplies that are suitable for your child’s age. Check labels for recommendations and avoid items with small parts or sharp edges for younger children. Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible. Organize and Secure Supplies - Keep all craft tools and materials organized. Store sharp objects, small parts, and potentially hazardous items out of reach when not in use.
