Handprint Muffin Keepsake - I Would Be Muffin Without You!

The handprint muffin keepsake craft is perfect for gifting to loved ones, adding a whimsical touch to your holiday decorations, or simply cherishing as a priceless memento for years to come!

Craft Supplies:

  • MUFFIN PRINTABLE – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Washable Craft Paint
  • Paper Plate
  • Paint Brush
  • Baby Wipes
  • Black Marker
  • Brown or Tan Crayon

Directions:

  • First things first, if you haven’t already, print out our “I would be muffin without you” file {listed above in the supply list} on a single sheet of white cardstock paper.
  • Next up – grab the craft paint, paint brush and paper plate.
  • Squirt a small amount of paint on the paper plate.
  • Dip the paint brush in the paint.
  • Now pick a hand – any hand!
  • Go ahead and paint the palm & fingers of your child’s hand completely.
  • Working quickly, press the painted hand in the center of the printable, right on top of the cupcake liner design. Be sure to wiggle each finger so the paint really transfers to the paper.
  • Now gently lift up their hand to reveal the handprint design underneath.
  • Grab a few baby wipes to clean off excess paint and head to the sink for a good scrubbing as well.
  • When done cleaning up, it’s time to finish the keepsake! Grab the black Sharpie marker and draw on some squiggles around the handprint to make the “muffin top.”
  • Go ahead and also take the crayon & color in the blank spots to fill it all in {you can also add some black dots to give the muffin some texture.}
  • At this point in time you can also add other embellishments you see fit {like some stickers or glitter glue!}
  • Then gift or display your paper muffin keepsake masterpiece proudly!
  • Don’t forget to snap a few pictures of your finished paper and handprint muffin keepsake on your phone and tag us on your social media sites! #gluedtomycrafts
