Handprint All The Moms In The World Keepsake Craft

Let’s show the special moms in our lives how much we care! With this handprint keepsake craft idea, you and your little ones can create something unique and meaningful that will last forever!

Craft Supplies:

  • Moms In The World Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Washable Craft Paint
  • Large Foam Paint Brush
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Baby Wipes

Directions:

  • First things first – print out the I’m so glad you are mine keepsake printable, that is listed above in the supply list. You need one print per craft. I highly suggest printing on white cardstock paper.
  • If desired, have children color in the globe design with crayons.
  • Next up – grab that craft paint, as well as your foam paint brush and paper plate.
  • Squirt the craft paint on the paper plate.
  • Pick one of your child’s hands {left or right – doesn’t matter!}
  • Paint the palm and fingers of your child’s hand completely & press it down in the center of the printable, right inside the globe design. Be sure to jiggle each finger so the paint really transfers to the paper.
  • Now carefully lift up your child’s hand from the printable and clean off the excess paint from their hands, with a baby wipe & a quick trip to the sink.
  • When the handprint you just made on the paper is dry enough, start embellishing it with heart stickers and such. This is also a great time to have children write their name in the blank provided space.
  • When you are both done decorating the piece of paper, go ahead and display/gift away proudly your child’s beautiful handprint WORLD keepsake piece!
  • Don’t forget to share pictures with us! You can always tag us on Instagram for easy sharing. #gluedtomycrafts

Craft Activity Safety Guidelines:

Always Ensure Adult Supervision - Young children should be supervised at all times when engaging in craft activities. This is essential to keep them safe and ensure materials are used correctly. Use Age-Appropriate Supplies - Choose craft supplies that are suitable for your child’s age. Check labels for recommendations and avoid items with small parts or sharp edges for younger children. Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible. Organize and Secure Supplies - Keep all craft tools and materials organized. Store sharp objects, small parts, and potentially hazardous items out of reach when not in use. Following these guidelines will ensure that crafts remain fun, creative, and, most importantly, safe for everyone involved!
