Directions:
- First things first – cut off a small section of your heart shaped paper plate, to make the bottom of the fairy house lay flat.
- Discard the small piece you just cut off.
- Next up – take the black Sharpie marker and make small dots ALL over the paper plate. This will give the look of a strawberry.
- Now grab your green cardstock paper and pencil.
- Trace both of your hands on the paper.
- Trim out each traced design. Discard excess paper.
- Now grab your brown and white cardstock paper.
- Cut out circle windows, a door and rectangle chimney {the chimney will become the stem of the strawberry house – FYI!}
- Use the Sharpie marker to add details to your paper pieces {like window pane lines, a doorknob on the door, bricks on the chimney etc.}
- Once you have ALL your paper pieces complete and cut out, go ahead and now glue/staple all of them in place on the paper plate. I would highly suggest starting with the handprint “roof” and working from there. The paper chimney piece will go in the center of everything.
- Go ahead and add anything else you like for that custom look {like some love themed stickers or glitter!} before displaying your paper plate strawberry house proudly for all to see!
- Now head to our Popsicle Stick Strawberry Fairies tutorial to pair with today’s crafty idea!
