
Heart Doily Strawberry Cards For Valentine’s Day
Hi friends! It’s a NEW year and the Kids Craft Stars are joining forces once again to bring you a MONTHLY kid craft challenge post.
Every month this year, we will have a challenge between us bloggers to in-cooperate a different craft medium or theme into a simple tutorial. This month’s challenge was paper doilies and with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it just seemed too perfect for this time of year! Especially since you can turn paper heart doilies into so many things!
So without further ado – today I present to you our Red Paper Doily Strawberry Cards tutorial that is not only super simple and perfect for kids of ALL ages but it’s also the perfect excuse to send some #happymail to friends & family this upcoming LOVESTRUCK holiday!

Craft Supplies:
* Small 6-inch Red Heart Doilies – one per strawberry card
* Pre-folded Colored Cards
* Green Colored Cardstock Paper
* Black Colored Cardstock Paper
* Basic Glue Stick
* Paper Craft Scissors
* Small Heart Punch
optional materials – scrapbook stickers/ABC stamps
Directions:
* First glue your red doily to the center of your card front. This is the start of the strawberry.
* Now grab your green cardstock and scissors.
* Cut out a half-moon piece with a stem coming from it, that will be the top of the strawberry.
* Also cut out some details from that, so it looks like leaves on the strawberry greenery.
* Grab your black cardstock and punch out some hearts for the seeds of the strawberry.
* Glue your cardstock pieces in place.
* To finish off the Doily Strawberry Cards – add other embellishments you see fit {like scrapbook stickers that say “Love You Berry Much”} and gift away to the lucky receiver!!!
* Don’t forget to share pictures of your creations on your various social media sites! #gluedtomycrafts
