Mother’s Day is a special holiday to celebrate all of the amazing moms in our lives, and we want to make sure that they know how much they mean to us.
What better way to show them than with a handmade gift made especially for them? If you want an easy and fun kids craft idea this Mother’s Day, why not try making your own Fingerprint Strawberry Card!
It doesn’t take long, it costs very little, but it will be something special for mom this year – guaranteed to bring a smile to her face when she receives it!
We have step by step instructions and a FREE printable so anyone can do it, so gather your supplies and let’s get started crafting!
This special keepsake will bring lasting joy when framed or put into a scrapbook — it’s sure to become one of Mom’s favorite gifts.
To complete this unique fingerprint covered strawberry card craft, all you need to do is print out the provided “berry good Mother’s Day” file on red cardstock paper. You only need ONE strawberry print out per craft.
Next have children crumble up a few small, GREEN tissue paper squares and use school glue to attach them on top of the strawberry stem in the printed design.
Now grab your WASHABLE, black ink pad {or black paint instead!} Have children make several painted fingerprints, inside the strawberry, to give it that recognizable look. Use baby wipes to clean off hands {and send them to the sink for a good washup afterwards!}
Finally, have them use a marker to draw on a smile and glue on some googly eyes on top of the fingerprint design to bring their strawberry to life.
And that’s it! It’s honestly doesn’t get any easier than this! This Mother’s Day strawberry card craft can happen within minutes and I sure hope you give this great project a try today!
