Today’s Handprint Kisses For You craft tutorial is the perfect excuse to get messy with the kids AND make an adorable crafty piece for family members {and yourself} to enjoy for years to come. I could see this idea being bookmarked for Grandparent’s Day, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother/Father’s Day and so much more!

In this NEW FOR YOU post, I’ve included a gender-neutral and hand-drawn by me, “Hershey Kiss Themed” printable template. From here, all you need to do is print the file, grab some gray craft paint and have your children add their handprint to complete the “kisses” themed craft. It’s so simple, you have NO excuse NOT to do it!

Kisses For You - Handprint Keepsake Printable

“Our Kisses For You” printable is perfect for Grandparent’s Day, Valentine’s Day or even Mother’s/Father’s Day!

Craft Supplies:

  • KISSES Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Washable Craft Pain
  • Foam Paint Brushes
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Baby Wipes
  • Marker
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First grab the free printable listed above in the supply list.
  • Print it out, in color, on some single sheet of white cardstock paper. You only need one print per keepsake craft.
  • Next, grab your gray craft paint and squirt a little bit on the paper plate.
  • Dip a large paint brush in the craft paint.
  • Pick a hand – any hand!
  • Paint your child’s hand completely and press it in the center of the printable, right inside the Hershey Kiss.
  • Gently lift up their hand to reveal the handprint design.
  • Set aside the paper piece to let it dry a bit.
  • Remove excess paint from their hand with a few baby wipes and a quick trip to the sink.
  • When dry enough, grab your red craft paint and another paint brush.
  • Paint on a “heart” in the center of the handprint.
  • Next, grab a marker and have children write their name in the little right “flag” aspect of the printable.
  • Once done, set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Add other embellishments to give your Hershey Kiss piece a personalized look.
  • Then display/gift proudly!
