Kisses For Mommy - Handprint Card Idea

Let your little ones show their love for mommy with this special handprint kisses card craft! Get the whole family involved to create something truly unique and memorable!

Craft Supplies:

  • Kisses Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Washable Craft Paint or Ink Pad
  • Paint Brushes
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Baby Wipes
  • Red Construction Paper
  • Paper Craft Scissors
  • Large Glue Dots
  • Chocolate Hershey Kisses

Directions:

  1. First grab the free “Kisses For Mommy” themed printable from the supply list above.
  2. Print it in color on a simple sheet of white cardstock. You only need to print ONE per craft. Please only use our file for personal use.
  3. Next, grab your choice of color in craft paint or an ink pad.
  4. Paint your child’s hand completely and press it on the printable, right next to the box with the poem.
  5. Set aside to let it dry a bit.
  6. Remove excess paint from hands with baby wipes and a quick trip to the sink.
  7. Now grab your red cardstock, wrapped chocolate kiss, scissors and glue dots.
  8. Cut out a simple small heart shape from the cardstock.
  9. Attach that piece to the center of the handprint you made earlier.
  10. Follow that up by using a glue dot {or two} to attach the Hershey Kiss to the center of handprint.
  11. Add other embellishments to give your chocolate kiss card piece for a personalized look.
  12. Then display and/or gift away your handmade kiss gift to someone proudly!
