Fingerprint Sunflower – Kids Craft w/free printable
Confession time. I’m “a little” obsessed with sharing thumbprint kid craft on Glued To My Crafts these days. Like A LOT. By chance, have you seen them all?

So enough chit chat from me. Keep scrolling to check out my latest “invention” – the Thumbprint Sunflower kid craft idea! It’s perfect for a spring time theme and you can even gift it to someone special afterwards! Think Mother’s Day or even Easter!
Simply download our free sunflower and owl file, print it out on white cardstock and have your children add their thumbprints to make the sunflower come to life! That’s it!

Sunflower Craft Supplies:
* Free Sunflower and Owl Template Printable {GRAB IT ON BOX.COM}
* White Cardstock Paper
* Color Printer
* Washable Yellow Ink Pads {or whatever color you like!}
* Baby Wipes
* Black Sharpie Marker
Directions:
* First print the free sunflower and owl template printable, listed above, on white cardstock paper.
* Have children press their thumb on the yellow ink pad and then press it down, several times, near the flower center in the printable.
* Repeat until you have the look of a blooming sunflower.
* Use baby wipes to remove excess ink off of fingers.
* For added dimension, take your black Sharpie marker and draw around the flower, as well as inside.
* Add other embellishments you see fit on your thumbprint sunflower creation.
* Then display/gift proudly!
