This fun and easy popsicle stick & handprint red lobster craft is perfect for kids of all ages to recreate this summer season!
Craft Supplies:
- Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
- Mini Popsicle Sticks
- School Glue
- Red Craft Paint
- Large Paint Brush
- Small Paper Plate
- Kid Friendly Craft Scissors
- Red Colored Cardstock Paper
- Markers
- Large Wiggle Eyes
Directions:
- First glue your popsicle sticks together to look like a fence {3 jumbo next to each other with two mini across.}
- Set aside to let it dry completely.
- Now you are ready for paint. Squirt the red paint on the paper plate.
- Go ahead and paint your popsicle stick completely red to start the body of the lobster.
- Set aside to let it dry completely.
- Next grab your red cardstock and pencil.
- Trace your child’s hands and trim those out for the claws of the lobster.
- With the remaining cardstock, cut out some small legs, a head and of course – a fin for the lobster.
- To finish off your Popsicle Stick Lobster – have children glue on their cardstock pieces, as well as the wiggle eyes and other fun embellishments.
- Then let it all sit aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!!!
