Popsicle Stick Lobster Craft Idea

Popsicle Stick Handprint Lobster - Kid Craft

Looking for a way to spark creativity in your little ones? Try this cool Popsicle Stick Lobster craft idea that is sure to bring smiles and laughs to the kitchen table today!

Popsicle Stick Handprint Lobster - Kid Craft

This fun and easy popsicle stick & handprint red lobster craft is perfect for kids of all ages to recreate this summer season!

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
  • Mini Popsicle Sticks
  • School Glue
  • Red Craft Paint
  • Large Paint Brush
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Kid Friendly Craft Scissors
  • Red Colored Cardstock Paper
  • Markers
  • Large Wiggle Eyes

Directions:

  • First glue your popsicle sticks together to look like a fence {3 jumbo next to each other with two mini across.}
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Now you are ready for paint. Squirt the red paint on the paper plate.
  • Go ahead and paint your popsicle stick completely red to start the body of the lobster.
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Next grab your red cardstock and pencil.
  • Trace your child’s hands and trim those out for the claws of the lobster.
  • With the remaining cardstock, cut out some small legs, a head and of course – a fin for the lobster.
  • To finish off your Popsicle Stick Lobster – have children glue on their cardstock pieces, as well as the wiggle eyes and other fun embellishments.
  • Then let it all sit aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!!!
