If you don’t live near a beach – no worries. I was able to find some white seashells at my local Walmart for a reasonable price {found in the aisle with the fake flowers and vases} Michaels is also a good place to find seashells for sale or even Amazon or Dollar Tree.

So friends… Are you ready to learn the full how to? Well – let’s stop “shelling” around and grab our supplies for this easy Seashell Frame Decor idea! You can find the FULL tutorial below!

Happy crafting, my dear friends! Don’t forget to share pictures of your beautiful seashell covered wood frames on our Facebook page! #gluedtomycrafts

A child uses a red paintbrush to decorate white seashells with watercolor paint on a brown surface, creating pieces for a Watercolor Seashell Frame. A watercolor palette and several unpainted seashells are visible nearby. DIRECTIONS:

Now it’s time to assemble your watercolor seashell masterpiece:

  • First things first – paint your seashells with the watercolors. This is as simple as wetting the paint brush, dipping it in the various shades of watercolors and then on the seashells.
  • When done painting the seashells, let them dry completely in an undisturbed area.
  • Once those are dry enough, get the glue gun hot and ready. ADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED ON THIS STEP!
  • Arrange and hot glue the seashells onto the wood frame. You might have to layer some on top of each other.
  • When done again, set aside the decorated frame to let it dry completely.
  • Now the final step! Fill your seashell picture frame with your favorite photo and display your hard work proudly for ALL to see!

Congratulations, you’ve created a beautiful watercolor seashell frame! Your new decor piece not only brings the calming essence of the beach into your home but also serves as a unique showcase of your crafting skills.
