Paper Shark Mouth - Kid Craft w/free printable

This shark mouth picture frame is a great kid craft idea that is perfect for shark week or any time of year! Includes a free printable template to get you started.

Craft Supplies:

  • Shark Printable – ON OUR LANDING PAGE
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive
  • Printed Picture
  • Blue Cardstock Paper
  • Large Wiggle Eyes

Directions:

  • First things first – print out the free paper shark mouth file above. Just print it in color on a single sheet of white cardstock paper. You only need one print per shark craft.
  • Next, using scissors, trim out the shark design, as well as the inside of the shark’s mouth for the placement of the picture. Don’t discard that white excess paper just yet!
  • Now grab your child’s picture. Trim it down so it fits inside the shark mouth frame. Adhere it to the back of the printable with tape or a glue stick.
  • Next – grab a sheet of dark blue cardstock. Adhere your newly made shark design to the center of the paper.
  • Grab another sheet of lighter blue cardstock and cut out some “waves” for the bottom of the craft. Adhere it to the printable as well.
  • Now grab the white excess paper from the original printable. Cut out several small triangular shapes for the shark’s teeth. Adhere those in place where the picture is.
  • Finally and the last step for this Paper Shark Mouth craft, glue the large wiggle eyes on place, on the side of the shark design.
  • Display proudly for all to see!
