With minimal supplies and just a dash of imagination, your little ones will create an adorable carrot decoration that’s perfect for spring or Easter festivities!

Craft Supplies:

Gathering materials is half the fun! Here’s what you’ll need for your Pipe Cleaner and Styrofoam Cup Carrot Craft. Most of these items can be found in craft stores, dollar stores, or even right at home.

  • White Styrofoam Cup {1 per craft}
  • Large Paper Plate
  • Orange Craft Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Kid Friendly Scissors
  • Green Pipes Cleaners {3-5 per craft}

Directions:

Now that your materials are set, let’s get crafting!

  • First things first – place your Styrofoam cup in the center of the paper plate, upside down. This will make painting much easier!
  • Squirt some orange paint, in one corner, on the same paper plate.
  • Now hand over the paint brush and have your child paint their cup completely orange.
  • Once done, set aside to let it dry.
  • Next take your pipe cleaners and cut them in half {or thirds.}
  • Stick the pipe cleaners into the bottom portion of the Styrofoam cup.
  • Now display your newly made pipe cleaner and cup orange carrot piece proudly for all to see!
