Directions:

Follow this guide to make your paper plate and cupcake liner flowers step by step. Feel free to adjust and experiment to create your unique floral masterpiece!

  • First things first – paint your small paper plate and jumbo popsicle stick.
  • Once done, set them both aside to let them dry completely.
  • Next up – grab your two cupcake liners.
  • Flatten them out with your hands.
  • Use your scissors to cut a slight fringe around the edge on both. Be sure to fluff them up with your hands.
  • Now we are ready to start assembling the flower! Grab your paper plate, liners and craft stick.
  • Start by using a tiny bit of hot glue to secure the two cupcake liners {large on bottom, small on top} to the center of that painted paper plate.
  • Follow that up by now gluing the paper plate to one end of the painted jumbo craft stick.
  • Finally, trim down your photo and hot glue it in the center of everything.
  • Add any other embellishments you see fit and allow it to dry completely.
  • Then display proudly for ALL to see!

Ideas for Using Your Finished Craft:

Once your paper plate and cupcake liner flowers are complete, there are so many fun ways to use them.

  • Mother’s Day Gift: Arrange the flowers into a bouquet and present them to mom or grandma. They’ll love the thought and effort that went into this DIY gift!
