- White Cardstock Paper
- Colored Cardstock Paper
- Pencil or Pen
- Scissors
- Adhesive
- Glitter Glue/Loose Craft Glitter
- Embellishments
Gathering all your supplies ahead of time will save you from interruptions, keeping the project stress-free and enjoyable for everyone.
Directions:
- First things first, download and print out our free “100 days of growing” file {listed above in the supply list} on a single sheet of white cardstock paper. You will need ONE print per child.
- Next up – have children trace BOTH of their hands on a sheet of colored cardstock paper.
- When they are done tracing, they can trim out each piece with their scissors.
- Now you can either have them leave their “flowers” as is, or help them add glitter glue & loose craft glitter to the edge/rim of the cutouts.
- Finally – it’s time to glue down the two handprint “flowers” to complete the theme. Simply add some glue to the back of each cutout and then place one above each flower stem.
- Students can now add any other embellishments they see fit, to give it a customize look.
- And that’s it! Then display their handprint 100th day flowers masterpiece proudly for ALL to see!!
BTW – Once the flowers are completed, celebrate by taking a group photo with all the kids holding up their creations. Share the moment with parents or display the projects on a special “100 Days of School” bulletin board.
