100 Days With My Gnomies Keepsake

You’ve made it to 100 days of school! That’s a huge accomplishment and definitely worth celebrating. This gnome craft is the perfect way for kids to show off how proud they are of all their hard work during the first 100 days of school!

Craft Supplies:

  • KEEPSAKE PRINTABLE – ON OUR LANDING PAGE
  • Crayons, Markers or Coloring Pencils
  • Gray Cardstock Paper
  • White Cardstock Paper – two pieces
  • Brown Cardstock Paper
  • Pencil or Pen
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First things first, if you haven’t already, download and print out our free “100 days with my gnomies” file {listed above in the supply list} on a single sheet of white cardstock paper. You will need ONE print per child.
  • Go ahead and instruct children to color in the three party hat designs on the piece of paper, with crayons, markers or coloring pencils.
  • When they are done coloring, they can trim out each design {and the rectangle piece with the words} and set aside the paper pieces till later.
  • Next up – have children trace their hand {any hand!} THREE times on their second piece of white cardstock paper.
  • When they are done tracing, they can trim out each piece with their scissors. Each handprint cutout will be a beard for their three gnomes. Set those aside with the other paper pieces.
  • Now it’s time for the nose. Instruct them to grab their sheet of brown cardstock paper.
  • Have them cut out THREE medium sized oval shapes for the gnomes’ noses.
  • Now they have ALL our needed paper pieces and they are ready to assemble it all together. Have them grab their sheet of gray cardstock paper and instruct them to lay it landscape on their working surface.
  • Have them start off by gluing down the THREE white handprint cutouts, in a row, on the top of the gray cardstock paper. They will want the fingertips facing downward, towards the center.
  • Follow that step by gluing down the hat and nose cutouts for each gnome.
  • Finally – it’s time to glue down the rectangle piece {with the words} in the center of it all.
  • To finish off your Paper 100 Days of School Gnome Keepsake, students can add any other embellishments they see fit, to give it a customize look.
  • And that’s it! Then display their handprint celebrating gnomes masterpiece proudly for ALL to see!!
