Directions:

  • First print out the “valentine cement truck” printable, on white paper. One print out will you TWO opportunities to do this craft!
  • Next up – have children color in one of the dump truck designs. They can use crayons, markers, coloring pencils etc.!
  • When they are done coloring, help them cut out the truck design, as well as the provided “we mix together” wording.
  • Now grab your pink cardstock paper and the washable stamp pads.
  • Working together, make a TON of thumbprint hearts ALL over the paper. Really go to town on this step.
  • When done, use baby wipes to remove excess ink {as well as heading to the sink for a quick washup as well!}
  • Now we are heading towards the last few steps! Grab your two paper cutouts you made earlier and your choice of adhesive.
  • Start off by gluing down the cement truck in the center of the pink paper, then adding the wording underneath.
  • Finish off with some heart stickers in any of the blank spaces on your decorated piece of paper.
  • And that’s it! Add anything else you see fit and display your completed craft proudly for ALL to see!
  • Don’t forget to do the second half of the printable, so you can turn it into a card and gift it away as well!
