Paper Doily Gnome Valentine Card Supplies:
- Small, White Paper Heart Doilies {one per Valentine gnome card}
- Pre-Folded Colored Cardstock Cards {think shades of red, purple, pink}
- Valentine Print Scrapbook Paper
- Paper Craft Scissors
- Tape Runner Adhesive
- Glue Dots or Glue Pop Up Dots
- Large Heart Stickers
- Black Sharpie Marker
- optional embellishments to give him a custom look!
Directions:
* First things first – if you aren’t using pre-folded cards, go ahead and make one now. You will want ONE card piece per paper doily gnome craft.
* Next use your glue dots {or pop up dots} to adhere your white, paper doily heart to the front/center of the cardstock card but you want the heart upside down. Repeat for each valentine you are making today. This is the gnome’s beard and head.
* Following that step, cut out a simple triangle shape from the scrapbook paper.
* Adhere the triangle piece to the tip of the paper heart doily to create his hat.
* To finish off your doily gnome valentine, simple add his heart shaped “nose” to the center of it all, to tie it together.
* Go ahead and also write a quirky saying like “I GNOME you” or “I love you GNOME matter what” on the outside of the card as well.
* Then add other embellishments you see fit – like bows, glitter, stamped sentiments etc!
* Don’t forget to write a message inside :-)
* Finally – it’s time to give your paper doily gnome valentines away!
