Torn Paper Llama Fabulous Card Craft

Torn Paper Llama Fabulous Card Craft

Crafting is a wonderful activity for kids. It helps build fine motor skills, encourages creativity, and provides a fun way to spend an afternoon.

If you’re looking for your next crafting project, today’s torn paper llama art project idea is the perfect mix of easy, fun, and colorful! Not only are llamas undeniably adorable, but this craft also allows kids to get a little messy while creating something unique!

This guide will walk you through the steps to create a beautiful torn paper llama. By the end, you and your kids will have a masterpiece to hang on the refrigerator or gift to a loved one.

Craft Supplies:

This craft project doesn’t require a long list of supplies. You likely have most of these materials at home already!

  • “LLAMA FABULOUS” PRINTABLE – on our landing page
  • Colored Cardstock Paper
  • White Computer Paper
  • School Glue
  • Embellishments

Now that you’ve gathered everything, let’s jump into crafting!

Directions:

  • First download and print out the FREE llama fabulous printable listed above, on a single piece of light blue cardstock paper. You will need to print ONE for each craft you want to do with your child today.
  • Now help your child cut/tear their second sheet of paper into small pieces.
  • Next grab the school glue and put a good amount of it in the center of the llama design.
  • Have children place their paper pieces on top of the glue {adding more if needed} until it’s is completely filled in.
  • The final step is to add a nose and eyes to bring the llama to life.
  • And just like that, their Torn Paper “LLAMA FABULOUS” craft is complete! Set aside to let it all dry completely before displaying/gifting your child’s handmade llama card proudly!
