* Red/White Colored Cardstock
* Gold Craft Foam
* Basic Craft Scissors
* Extra Large Wiggle Eyes
* Hand-Held Office Stapler
* School Glue
* Red & White Craft Yarn
* Black Sharpie Marker
optional – embellishments like glitter, rhinestones etc.
Directions:
* You will need ONE red heart shaped paper plate per unicorn craft. Pull it out and set aside.
* Now grab all your cardstock, gold glitter craft foam and scissors.
* Have children cut an oval shaped nose, a long triangle horn and two triangle shaped ears, for EACH unicorn they are making.
* Set everything aside.
* Now grab the red & white yarn.
* Cut a handful of 4 inch pieces of yarn {maybe 10-20 strands depending on the look you like}
* Lay them all together, facing the same direction. Cut another piece of yarn and tie it around the center of your yarn bunch. This will the unicorn’s hair.
* To finish off your Paper Plate Valentine Unicorn, have children staple {or glue} their cardstock pieces in place, as well stapling on the yarn hair.
* Then add the wiggle eyes and any other embellishments they see fit {like glitter, heart stickers etc.} before displaying proudly!
