At The End Of My Rainbow Craft

One thing you should know about me, is that I’m constantly brainstorming ideas for kids craft tutorials that can double as gifts. My goal is to not only entertain those who are crafting our tutorials BUT also those who are on the receiving end as well!

So on that note, why just place your child’s beautiful creation on the fridge for a few days, when you can pass it on to friends and family & spread some good cheer?! That’s exactly what I had in mind when I came up with this “At The End Of My Rainbow” kid craft idea. There’s even a FREE printable in this very post, to get you started even faster!

From there, children will decorate their paper rainbow and pot of gold however they like {I opted for paper hearts} with various elements and then sign their name on the bottom, before they gift it to someone special in their life. That’s how easy it is!

It’s a quick paper pot of gold craft idea that is perfect to spread some “rainbow love” and good spirits this upcoming St. Patrick’s Day. I hope this tutorial brings you luck and that the free included printable come in handy for you & your child, as well!

At The End of the Rainbow - Kid Craft

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with this fun and easy craft idea for kids! They’ll love making a pot of gold and rainbow to hang on the fridge!

Craft Supplies:

  • Pot of Gold Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Cardstock or Scrapbook Paper
  • Glue Stick or School Glue
  • Small Paper Heart Craft Punch
  • Pen or Pencil

Directions:

  • First things first – print out the FREE rainbow themed printable listed above, on one sheet of white cardstock. You only need one “At The End of My Rainbow” printable per craft. Print as many as you like! Set aside.
  • Now grab your various shades of colored cardstock and small paper heart punch. Punch out a handful of hearts for each ray of the five lines in the rainbow.
  • Next, with your choice of glue, make little dots of adhesive on the provided marks in the printable.
  • One by one, place the small heart pieces on top of the glue dots you just made, until each spot is covered and you have a full rainbow.
  • If desired {and for a full look} add shamrock and four leaf clover stickers all around the craft.
  • And that’s it! Now sign your name to your Paper Pot of Gold Piece before displaying it proudly or gifting it to someone special.
