Heart With Paper Plate Wings Craft

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and Glued To My Crafts has YOU covered for all your crafty holiday needs!

Today we are going to show you how easy it is to take a simple white paper plate and add it to a pre-cut craft foam heart shape to make a “lovestruck” themed kids craft idea!

Heart With Paper Plate Wings Craft

Super simple for younger children AND it can double as awesome Valentine’s Day party decor as well!

Craft Supplies:

  • Large, Craft Foam Hearts
  • Small White Paper Plates
  • Scissors
  • Stapler
  • optional material – Googly Eyes

Directions:

  • First cut your paper plate in half. Straight up the center into TWO equal pieces. This will make TWO wings for your heart craft.
  • Now grab ONE craft foam heart shape and your stapler.
  • Staple the paper plate “wings” {one on each side} to the heart. Make sure they are equal to each other.
  • Then finish off with some crafty embellishments.
  • When done decorating, display it proudly for all to see! #gluedtomycrafts
