Wood Slice Snowmen Supplies:
* Small Wood Slice Pieces {found at my local Michaels}
* White/Orange/Black Craft Paint
* Wood Scoop Sticks
* Small Paint Brushes
* Wood Glue {or low-temp hot glue gun}
* Pretty Ribbon/Twine
Directions:
* Set aside three wood slice pieces for each snowman ornament you are going to make.
* If desired – go ahead and paint them completely white. {Get the kids involved in this step!}
* Next paint on the snowman features like eyes, nose, buttons etc. Set aside to let your pieces dry completely.
* Once dry, place a line of glue on a wood scoop stick. Lay your wood slice pieces on top, to assemble the snowman. Add some red twine to give the look of a scarf. Let dry completely.
* To finish it off, glue some twine or ribbon to back, so you can hang it on your tree. Then display proudly!!!
Above is another version of this wood slice snowman ornament idea. I used single pieces instead, as well as craft paint to give it that snowman look.
