Just stamp some green paint onto some white cardstock paper and you’re all set! Your kids will have a blast making their own green eggs, and you can use them as decorations or as part of a fun story time activity.

Craft Supplies:

  • Large RAW uncooked Potato
  • Knife {adult supervision required!}
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Green Craft Paint
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • EGG PRINTABLE – ON OUR LANDING PAGE
  • optional materials – loose green craft glitter

Directions:

  • First print out the FREE template for greens eggs and ham listed above. You only need one egg print per craft.
  • Next cut your potato in half. You will only need need one half for this craft but no worries – because I have some other ideas on my blog for the other half, you can craft up!
  • Now squirt your green paint on the paper plate.
  • Have children dip one half of the potato into the green paint {smear it around} then stamp it in the “gray” area of the printable to represent the yolk of the egg.
  • Repeat for each spot on the printable, for a total of THREE GREEN EGGS
  • Now this step is completely optional but while the paint is still wet, sprinkle some loose green craft glitter on top, for added sparkle. Shake off excess.
  • Set aside your piece to let it dry completely.
