Making them is simple, fun and makes for a wonderful craft activity which can involve the whole family!

Craft Supplies:

  • Large Candy Suckers
  • White Craft Foam
  • White Pipe Cleaners
  • Low Temp Hot Glue Gun
  • Craft Scissors
  • Black Sharpie Marker
  • Pink Sharpie Marker
  • Large Wiggle Eyes

Directions:

  • First you will want to cut your bunny shapes out of the white craft foam. You will want a circle for it’s head, as well as heart shaped feet for the lollipop to stand on. Make one set per bunny lollipop.
  • Now get your glue gun nice and hot.
  • Using the Sharpies, draw a bunny face on the circle foam cutout.
  • Go ahead and also add on the wiggle eyes so he can see.
  • Next hot glue the ball of the lollipop to the feet cutout so the it will stand nicely.
  • Now hot glue the head cutout to the stick of the lollipop.
  • To finish off the bunny, bend one pipe cleaner into the shape of bunny ears and hot glue them to the foam head cutout/lollipop.
  • Now repeat for each Candy Bunny Sucker you will be gifting.
  • Then gift away!

Now aren’t these bunny lollipops made from craft foam & pipe cleaners super cute? Did I mention that this idea is even great for the Easter bunny to “hide” in an Easter egg hunt instead of plastic eggs? Also with the pipe cleaner ears, it’s easy to tie them to gift bags and boxes. Just thread some ribbon/yarn through the loops and tie away! The possibilities are endless with this idea and I sure hope it inspires you!

Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible.
