Craft Supplies:

  • Pumpkin Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Crayons
  • Pencil
  • Black Cardstock Paper
  • Choice of Color Cardstock Paper
  • School Glue
  • Scissors
  • Stapler
  • Ribbon

Directions:

  • First things first – print out the pumpkin printable, on a single sheet of white cardstock paper.
  • Use the crayons to color in the pumpkin design.
  • When done coloring, take the black cardstock paper and cut out a jack-o-lantern face.
  • Glue those pieces to the pumpkin design.
  • Now trim out the shape and discard excess paper.
  • Next grab your choice of colored cardstock paper {I did brown for our example images} and a pencil.
  • Trace your hand TWICE on the paper.
  • Trim out both designs.
  • Now grab the ribbon and cut off TWO long pieces.
  • To finish off the jack-o-lantern hug craft, simply staple the ribbon and handprint cutouts to each side of the pumpkin shape.
  • Add the wiggle eyes and draw on a smile.
  • Display as is or gift away to spread some cheer this Halloween season!
