Keep the kids cozy and creative this winter season! Our “paper and paint” winter coat snow craft is sure to provide hours of entertainment and make for a memories that will last a lifetime!
Craft Supplies:
- FREE Winter Coat Printable
- White Cardstock Paper
- Crayons, Markers or Coloring Pencils
- Scissors
- Blue Cardstock Paper
- Glue Stick
- Small Paper Plate
- White Washable Craft Paint
- Baby Wipes
- Large Cupcake Liners
- Printed Picture
- Stickers/Embellishments
Directions:
- First grab the free “blank winter coat” printable listed above in the supply list.
- Print it on a single sheet of white cardstock paper. Color it in however you like.
- Once done coloring, trim out the design and discard excess paper.
- Now grab a sheet of blue cardstock and your glue stick.
- Glue the coat shape in the center of the blue paper.
- Next up – squirt some white craft paint on the paper plate.
- Have children dip their fingertip in the paint, then press it on the blue paper to make snowflakes all around the winter coat.
- Repeat until you have a “snow storm” on the paper.
- Remove excess craft paint from the finger with a baby wipe and a quick trip to the sink.
- To finish off the winter craft, add the cupcake liner {as is} along with your child’s picture trimmed down, to the head portion of the craft.
- Add any other embellishments you see fit on your piece of paper.
- When done, simply let it all dry completely before displaying proudly for all to see.
