Grinch Gnome Craft Idea For Kids

Get your kids in the Christmas spirit with this handprint Grinch gnome keepsake craft! It’s a simple way to add some holiday cheer and create fun memories that will last for years to come.

Grinch Gnome Craft Idea For Kids

Grinch Gnome Keepsake

Bring the classic Dr. Seuss tale of “The Grinch” to life with this fun handprint gnome craft from us! Grab the free printable and bring him to life with just TWO handprint cutouts. Enjoy!

Craft Supplies:

  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Santa Hat Printable – on our landing page
  • Brown Cardstock Paper
  • Green Cardstock Paper
  • Crayons, Coloring Pencils or Markers
  • Scissors
  • Stapler or Glue

Directions:

  • First things first – print out the FREE Santa hat printable.
  • Go ahead and color in the hat portion of the printable.
  • When ready, trim out the hat shape and discard excess paper.
  • Next up – grab the your green cardstock paper, along with a drawing utensil.
  • Go ahead and trace BOTH of your hands on the paper.
  • Now trim out the traced designs.
  • To finish off your Handprint Grinch Gnome keepsake – simply glue {or staple} the TWO handprint cutouts to the back of the gnome hat shape.
  • Follow that up with an oval nose on the front, in the center of the craft.
  • Add other embellishments  to give it your own creative spin.
  • When done decorating, display your adorable little grinch gnome proudly!!!
