Get creative with recycled cardboard tubes this winter! Make some fun snowman flowers on paper with your kids and brighten up their day!

Toilet Roll Stamped Snowman Flowers

Aren’t these little snowmen inspired flowers just the cutest? I came up with this particular idea a few days ago when I was brainstorming new ideas for Glued To My Crafts and I just couldn’t stop thinking about it.

Ironically I just so happened to have some toilet rolls left over from a previous project on our website, so I decided to bring my unique idea to life {with a free printable – of course!} So one thing led to another and here we are today!

The results were adorable, and I had so much fun making not only creating my finished snowy craft piece to show off BUT also making the FREE printable that you will find below. This way you can make this winter craft even faster as well!

Toilet Roll Stamped Snowman Flowers

I think this snowman art project idea would make a great craft for classroom parties or any winter gathering. So if you’re looking for a quick and easy way to add some festive flair to your home this season, be sure to try out this cardboard roll stamped snowman flowers tutorial below!

Craft Supplies:

  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Flower Printable – on our landing page
  • Blue Cardstock Paper
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Scissors
  • White Craft Paint
  • Glue Stick
  • Sharpie Marker
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • To get started, simply download and print the free printable snowman flower face template. One print will give you SIX flowers, which in turn will allow you to make this craft THREE times.
  • Go ahead and cut out TWO snowman head shapes. Set aside the remainder for later.
  • Next, using scissors, you will want to cut slits in the toilet paper roll. I went about 1/4 of the way up.
  • Then bend the slits outward. The toilet paper roll will look like a flower when you are done.
  • Next – take some white craft paint and squirt it on a paper plate.
  • Using your new toilet paper roll stamp, move the paint around a bit, so the stamp part is completely covered.
  • Now hand it over to your child and wait for the fun to begin! All they need to do is dip their newly made stamp in the paint, then on the paper. They will want to make TWO flowers {with room between each} on the paper.
  • Repeat adding paint, until the desired design is reached. At this point in time they can also sprinkle loose craft glitter on top of their wet paint creations.
  • The final step is to draw on the “flower stem” under both designs and glue on the snowman centers.
  • Once the paint is dry, add embellishments all around the designs, to make your snowflake flowers stand out from the crowd!
