Toilet Roll Stamped New Year’s Eve Fireworks

Are you looking for a fun and easy kids craft to help celebrate the new year? Then why not let your child try their hand at making their own stamped fireworks on paper!? This simple project only requires a few supplies, and kids of all ages will enjoy getting creative with paint.

To get started, simply download and print the free printable firework template.

Next, using scissors, you will want to cut slits in the toilet paper roll. I went about 1/4 of the way up. Then bend the slits outward. The toilet paper roll will look like a flower when you are done.

Next – take some craft paint and squirt it on a paper plate. Using your new toilet paper roll stamp, move the paint around a bit, so the stamp part is completely covered.

Now hand it over to your child and wait for the fun to begin! All they need to do is dip their firework stamp in the paint, then on the paper. Repeat, until desired design is reached. At this point in time they also sprinkle loose craft glitter on top of their creations.

Once the paint is dry, add embellishments to make your fireworks stand out from the crowd!
