Craft Supplies:
- Free Printable – on our landing page
- White Cardstock Paper
- Yellow Craft Paint
- Paint Brush
- Small Paper Plate
- Baby Wipes
- Black Marker
- Wiggle Eyes
- Sticker Embellishments
Directions:
- First print out the egg keepsake printable, listed above, in the supply list.
- Now grab the washable craft paint, as well as your foam paint brush and paper plate.
- Squirt the YELLOW craft paint on the paper plate.
- Pick one of your child’s hands {left or right – doesn’t matter!}
- Paint the fingers and palm of your child’s hand completely and press it down in the center of the printable, right between the wording. Be sure to wiggle each fingers to really transfer that paint.
- Now carefully lift up your child’s hand from the printable to reveal the handprint design.
- Clean off excess paint from hands with a baby wipe and a quick trip to the sink with soap & water.
- Next – grab the black Sharpie marker and draw around the handprint design, to give the look like a fried egg.
- At this point in time you should also add the wiggle eyes and any other embellishments you see fit.
- Then display/gift away proudly your child’s beautiful handprint fried egg keepsake piece!
