Double, double toil and trouble! We are sharing a magical Popsicle Stick Witch Potion Bottles kid craft idea that is perfect for Halloween fun! Every kid will be able to BREW their own potion and I think that’s the best part of all!

Halloween, the most bewitching time of the year, is on the horizon, and what better way to kick off the spooky season than with a wickedly fun craft project?

From bubbling cauldrons to cackling witches, the imagery of Halloween is iconic and, above all, a delightful playground for kids’ imaginations.

This year, why not recreate our “Popsicle Stick Witch Potion Craft” – an activity that’s as fun to create as it is to play with afterward?!

In this blog post, we’ll brew up a creative concoction of instructions and inspiration that’s perfect for the whole family to recreate this spooky season!

These easy and spooky witch potion bottles are perfect for your Halloween decorations! All you need are jumbo popsicle sticks, school glue, and a few other supplies to “brew” these up!

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks – 4 per craft
  • Mini Popsicle Sticks – 2 per craft
  • School Glue
  • Craft Paint
  • Paint Brushes
  • Paper Plate
  • Halloween Printable – on box.com
  • Cardstock Paper
  • Scissors

Directions:

  • First pull out your popsicle sticks. You need four jumbo and two mini per potion bottle you want to make.
  • Go ahead and glue your popsicle sticks together to look like a fence.
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Repeat for each craft.
  • Now you are ready for paint. Go ahead and squirt your craft paint on the paper plate.
  • Paint your popsicle stick shape however you like.
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Next go ahead and print out our free Halloween label printable that was listed above in the supply list.
  • Trim out the circle labels in the printable. Pick which one you want to use.
  • Next grab your other cardstock paper sheets.
  • Cut out a large rectangular label for the center, as well as the top portion of the bottle.
  • To finish off your Popsicle Stick Witch Potion Bottle  – glue on your cardstock pieces, as well as any other embellishments you see fit.
