One in a melon! This easy and fun handprint watermelon keepsake kids craft idea is perfect for summertime fun!
Craft Supplies:
- Melon Printable – ON OUR LANDING PAGE
- White Cardstock Paper
- Washable Pink Craft Paint
- Green Craft Paint
- Black Craft Paint
- Foam Paint Brush
- Small Paint Brushes
- Paper Plate
- Baby Wipes

Directions:
- First grab the FREE Watermelon printable above.
- Print it in color on simple white cardstock paper.
- Next grab your pink craft paint and paper plate.
- Squirt some paint on the paper plate.
- Paint the palm and fingers of your child’s hand completely with the craft paint.
- Working fast, press it in the center of the printable to create the start of a watermelon.
- Use baby wipes to remove the excess paint off their hand.
- If desired, add some glitter on top of the wet paint for a more fun look!
- Then set it aside to let it dry completely before you paint on the green rim for the watermelon, as well as black seeds inside!
- Add other embellishments you see fit, as well as having children sign the bottom.
- Then display/gift proudly!
