DIRECTIONS:

  • To create this Paper and Plastic Leaf Birds craft, simply have children glue their decorative leaf to the center of the tree branch printable {if you can’t print our file, go ahead and hand draw a tree branch design on your paper, instead!}
  • While they are working on that, I want YOU to lay out the various embellishments on the table, that you want them to decorate their bird with. Like I mentioned above – you are just supplying the blank canvas and opening up the gates of creativity.
  • Children can add legs made out of markers, make a triangle nose out of scrap paper and they can even go the extra mile & add ten wiggle eyes to their bird if they want. Your child will make the masterpiece “FLY” I’m sure!
  • When they are done decorating their bird, simply set aside the entire paper to let it dry completely before you display it proudly for all to see!
