Santa Starfish Ornament
Super easy to recreate & then put on a beach themed decorated Christmas tree today!
SUPPLIES & DIRECTIONS:
- The Santa Starfish Ornament craft supplies – your starfish {of course!} red, white, nude & black craft paint, small paint brushes, a paper plate, hot glue gun and a little bit of ribbon or twine.
- Start off my cleaning off your starfish with a light damp rag. You want to make sure any dust or grim is off the surface.
- Next up – squirt all your paint colors on the paper plate.
- Grab your paint brushes and start envisioning a Santa design on the starfish. I would highly suggest starting with the red and working from there. It’s VERY important you allow each paint color to dry completely before moving onto adding more colors on top.
- The body of the starfish is completely red, while two tips will be nude for his hands, two others will be black for his boots and the top tip is white for his hat. When you add the face, to the center of the starfish, just draw a basic circle with the nude colored paint and carefully draw on a face with a very thin tip paint brush.
- When done painting, allow it to dry completely in an undisturbed area for a few hours so it can really set
- Then hot glue string to the top of your Santa Starfish Ornament and you will instantly have a gift idea that is perfect for those who love the ocean and/or beach!

Although this Santa starfish ornament craft is not my original idea {I actually purchased it at a local beach shop here in Tampa} I just had to share it on Glued To My Crafts because it’s so easy to recreate and customize too! I highly encourage you to DIY it yourself today!
