Not to mention – this crafty idea goes perfectly with the book “The Day The Crayons Quit” which would make story time even better!

Handprint Box Of Crayons Craft Supplies:
* Yellow Colored Cardstock
* Green Colored Cardstock
* Pencil or Pen
* Kid Friendly Craft Scissors
* School Glue
* Loose Craft Glitter {in various colors – five different ones}
* Hand-Held Office Stapler
* Black Sharpie Marker
Directions:
* First trace your child’s hand on the sheet of yellow cardstock.
* Trim out the traced design with your paper craft scissors.
* Now grab your green cardstock and trim out a rectangle for the “box” aspect of the crayon box, as well as a oval for the center.
* Go ahead and attach your green pieces to the yellow handprint.
* Finish off the Handprint Box Of Crayons craft by having children draw a line of glue on EACH finger and shaking glitter on top to represent the crayons.
* Shake off excess glitter and set aside to let it dry completely.
* Then display proudly for everyone to see!!!
