Baby Footprint Crayon Craft Idea – perfect for a daycare or maybe as a grandparent’s gift on Grandparent’s Day!
For this unique baby footprint keepsake idea, all you need is washable craft paint in a few different colors, some scissors, a glue stick, black marker and a few sheets of cardstock paper.
The first step is the footprints! Simply paint the bottom of your child’s foot and press it down on white cardstock paper. Make sure you wiggle each toe so the paint really transfers. Repeat for multiple colors.
When done with the paint step, set aside the various painted prints to let them dry completely.
Now for the final steps! Using scissors, trim out each footprint design. Use the black marker to add two lines on each print, to make them look like crayons.
Finally, make a simple rectangle shaped crayon box out of yellow and green paper & glue it another piece of paper. Now glue your footprint cutout pieces all around it so it looks like they are popping out. Add any other embellishments you see fit and display proudly! Enjoy!
