This kid craft is inspired by the new Trolls movie and of course – my 90’s childhood. It’s super easy, inexpensive and a lot of fun for all ages! Get creative with your trolls and have some fun with this simple rainbow colored craft idea!

Popsicle Stick Troll Craft Idea

Looking for a fun craft that will keep your kids entertained while sparking their creativity? This popsicle stick troll craft combines simple materials with endless personality possibilities. Perfect for rainy days, playdates, or classroom activities, these colorful characters require minimal prep time and deliver maximum fun.

Your little ones will love creating their own troll family with wild hair, silly faces, and unique personalities. Best of all, you probably already have most of the supplies at home!

Popsicle Stick Troll Craft Idea

Make colorful popsicle stick trolls with simple supplies! This fun kids craft takes 30 minutes and uses materials you probably have at home.

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks – 3 per craft
  • School Glue
  • Craft Scissors
  • Cardstock Paper
  • Medium Sized Wiggle Eyes – 2 per craft
  • Black Sharpie Marker
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First grab three popsicle sticks {three per troll} and glue them together to look like a triangle.
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Repeat for each troll craft piece you want to make today.
  • Now grab your nude cardstock paper and scissors.
  • Cut out a triangular piece for inside the popsicle stick design, as well as some half circle ears for each side.
  • Then follow that up by grabbing your colored cardstock and cutting out some wavy {wild} hair for your troll.
  • To finish off the Popsicle Stick Trolls – have children glue their paper pieces in place, as well as any other embellishments {like wiggle eyes and glitter} where they see fit.
  • Once done, set aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!
