Finding a sweet, handmade gift for Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day just got much easier. We swapped out the messy craft paint for colorful paper to create this “Owl Always Love You” handprint keepsake.
Using cardstock gives this project a clean, layered look while keeping cleanup to an absolute minimum. Kids enjoy tracing their hands, and you get a beautiful piece of art to save forever.
This simple paper craft takes only a few basic supplies and yields a lovely, textured result. Let us gather our materials and start creating!
Craft Supplies:

- First download and print out the free “owl always love you” tree branch printable listed above in the supply list.

- Grab your second sheet of cardstock paper and a pencil. Have your child place their hand flat on the paper. Trace around their fingers and palm, and then carefully cut out the handprint. This shape becomes the main body of your owl.
