Puffy Paint Snow In Winter Snowplow Truck Craft

If your child LOVES snow and big trucks, get ready for some epic winter craft fun {indoors} with our Puffy Paint Snowy Truck kid craft idea!

In true Glued To My Crafts fashion, you will find a FREE PLOW TRUCK PRINTABLE below, as well as super simple directions that won’t pull out your hair. Bonus – you won’t need to bare the cold air outside to make it happen!!

To complete this winter art project idea, simply download the FREE SNOW TRUCK TEMPLATE below, print it out on colored paper and then mix up some glue & shaving cream, so kids can fill up their snow truck with piles & piles of PUFFY PAINT SNOW. Then set aside to allow it to dry completely so it can “harden” and become a fun, textured mixed media art piece!

Craft Supplies:

  • FREE SNOW PLOW PRINTABLE [GRAB IT ON BOX.COM}
  • Thick Colored Cardstock Paper
  • Colored Printer
  • White Shaving Cream
  • White School Glue
  • Small Mixing Bowl
  • Foam Paint Brush
  • Loose, White Craft Glitter

Directions:

  • First print out the FREE truck printable listed above in the supply list. I printed ours on a light shade of brown cardstock. Just remember you will want paper that allows the white puffy paint to really POP through and look like snow in the bed of the truck.
  • Next grab your bowl, paint brush, shaving cream and white school glue.
  • Mix equal parts of glue and shaving cream until it’s a frosting consistency.
  • Now have children paint on the “snow” in the back of the truck.
  • Once they are done with that, sprinkle some white glitter on top of the mixture so it really shines.
  • Then set your child’s masterpiece in an undisturbed area while it dries completely.
  • Now display your child’s puffy paint and paper snow truck creation proudly for all to see!!!

Puffy Paint Snow Truck

Tools:

  • Colored Printer
  • 1 Small Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Foam Paint Brush

Supplies:

  • White Shaving Cream
  • White School Glue
  • Loose White Craft Glitter
  • Cardstock Paper

Instructions:

  • First print out our provided printable, in color, on a single sheet of colored cardstock paper. You only need one print per craft.
  • Next grab your bowl, paint brush, shaving cream and white school glue.
