You can make something completely customizable and super fun with today’s step-by-step Santa seashell ornament tutorial below!
These DIY beach themed ornaments not only double as a great way to spend the afternoon together but they also make for awesome decorations you can enjoy on the tree, year after year! You can even use them as awesome gift tags on your presents if you like!
So without further ado – I’ll let you get to making your own Santa ornaments from seashells. Find all the details you need to know below, as well as a few links to supplies I highly recommend!

Seashell Santa Ornament Craft Supplies:
* Large Scallop Seashells – any size, shape, store bought or even ones found at the beach!
* Red Craft Paint
* Small Paint Brush
* Paper Plate
* Yellow Colored Cardstock
* Black Colored Cardstock
* White Cotton Balls
* Small Wiggle Eyes {two per ornament}
* Small Red Pom Poms {one per ornament}
* Small Santa Hat Embellishments {one per ornament}
* Craft Scissors
* Low Temp Hot Glue Gun
* Thin String/Twine
optional embellishments – glitter, rhinestones etc.
Directions:
* For the Santa Bellies Seashell Ornaments – have children paint their seashells completely red. Then have them cut out a “belt” from their cardstock and hot glue it to the center of the seashell.
* For the Santa Faces Seashell Ornaments – have children hot glue a cotton ball beard, as well as wiggle eyes, a red nose and Santa hat to the front of the seashell.
* Finish both off by hot gluing some string to the back of each seashell for easy hanging!
