Popsicle Stick Dinosaur

Let’s get creative! Your kids will love bringing their own dinosaurs to life with this fun popsicle stick craft idea!

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks – 3 per craft
  • School Glue
  • Green Construction Paper
  • Yellow Construction Paper
  • Green Craft Paint
  • Foam Paint Brush
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Craft Scissors
  • Black Sharpie Marker

Directions:

  1. First grab three popsicle sticks {three per dinosaur} and glue them together to look like a triangle.
  2. Set aside to let it dry completely. Repeat for each dinosaur you want to make today.
  3. While those are drying, grab your green cardstock and cut a triangular shape that will be placed within the popsicle stick design and be body of the dinosaur.
  4. At this time, you should also cut out some other dinosaur features like a long neck, short feet and pointy spikes.
  5. To finish off the Popsicle Stick Dinosaur – have children paint their popsicle stick design completely green, as well as gluing the paper pieces in place.
  6. Once done, set aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!

Here’s your checklist of supplies to bring this craft to life:

  • Cardstock Paper
  • Craft Paint
