Dinosaur Popsicle Stick Craft Idea That Is ROAR-SOME!

What kid doesn’t love dinosaurs? With that being said, our popsicle stick dinosaur craft tutorial is roar-some for those who love the prehistoric reptiles AND want to recreate something super simple to beat the boredom blues this afternoon!

To complete this reptile craft, simply gather a few supplies, print out the tutorial below and you’re ready to go! It’s seriously so simple!

Popsicle Stick Dinosaur

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks {3 per dinosaur craft}
  • School Glue
  • Green Construction Paper
  • Yellow Construction Paper
  • Green Craft Paint
  • Foam Paint Brush
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Kid Friendly Craft Scissors
  • Black Sharpie Marker

Directions:

  • First grab three popsicle sticks {three per dinosaur} and glue them together to look like a triangle.
  • Set aside to let it dry completely. Repeat for each dinosaur you want to make today.
  • While those are drying, grab your green cardstock and cut a triangular shape that will be placed within the popsicle stick design and be body of the dinosaur.
  • At this time, you should also cut out some other dinosaur features like a long neck, short feet and pointy spikes.
  • To finish off the Popsicle Stick Dinosaur – have children paint their popsicle stick design completely green, as well as gluing the paper pieces in place.
  • Once done, set aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!
